We’re excited to welcome Kids Fun Club Entertainment to 1988 Bar & Kitchen with their brilliant Performing Arts After-School Club. This fun and supportive club is a great opportunity for children and young adults who love the idea of getting involved in theatre, music, production or TV/film. It’s all about confidence, creativity, teamwork and having a laugh while learning new skills along the way
Every Wednesday, 4pm – 6pm
The club now runs every Wednesday from 4pm to 6pm, right here at 1988 Bar & Kitchen. It’s the perfect after-school activity for anyone who enjoys performing, creating characters, or being part of something exciting. Sessions include rehearsals, character development and performance-based learning — helping young people build confidence both on stage and off.
First 5 Week Block – FREE
The first 5-week block is completely FREE, giving new starters the chance to get involved and see what it’s all about. After that, the cost is £30 per 5-week block (2 hours per week). Places are aimed at those who can commit to attending weekly, as there will be some light rehearsal and development work to do at home too — perfect for anyone who’s serious about learning and improving.

For ages 13+, there may also be exciting opportunities through their entertainment company for those who show commitment and talent.
